This site, lindfinancialgroup.com, is published for Lind and Lind Insurance Agency, Inc., Lind Mining and Minerals, LLC, and Investments International, Inc., which coordinate under the trade name Lind Financial Group. This page explains, in plain language, what the site collects and what it does not.

What the site collects

Form contents. When you send a quote request, the name, contact details, and other answers you type are emailed to Lind and Lind Insurance Agency, Inc. and kept in its email system. The website itself stores nothing you submit.

One browser flag. The only thing this site stores in your browser is a single localStorage entry, lfg-mark-seen, which remembers that the short animation in the site header has already played so it does not play again. It holds no personal information, is not a cookie, and can be removed through your browser's settings.

Headlines and prices shown on the site. The Michigan news headlines on the insurance agency page are collected by this site's own server from the publisher a few times a day; your browser never contacts the publisher unless you click a headline. The indicative gold and silver prices on the home page are requested by your browser from a public price service; that request carries no personal information beyond your network address, which every web request includes.

What the site does not do

It sets no cookies. It uses no advertising or social-media tracking tags. It does not sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone outside the member companies, except as needed to quote or place insurance you have asked about, or where the law requires.

How form information is used and kept

Information you send is used to respond to you and, for quote requests, to prepare an insurance quote. It is kept for one year and then deleted unless it has become part of an insurance application or policy file, which is governed by the agency's insurance privacy notice described below.

Sending information to us. Anything you submit through this site, by the quote form or by email, is sent at your own risk. Email and web forms are not fully secure, and we cannot promise that a message will not be intercepted, delayed, or lost in transit. Do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers, or anything else you would not want exposed; if a quote or application needs that information, we will ask for it directly. Submitting information through this site does not bind coverage, create a policy, or start a client relationship, and Lind Financial Group and its member companies are not responsible for any loss that results from a message that is delayed, incomplete, or never received.

Your choices, including EU and UK visitors

You may ask to see, correct, or delete any information you submitted through this site by emailing Info@LindFinancialGroup.com or calling 989-426-9080. Visitors in the European Union and the United Kingdom have the same right to request access to or deletion of anything submitted through the forms, using the same email and phone number. Requests are answered within ten business days.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and the member companies do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent information through the site, contact the office and it will be deleted.

Insurance customers

Lind and Lind Insurance Agency, Inc. provides its separate insurance customer privacy notice at the time of application, as required by law.
